The concept is simple:- I choose all the materials I stock following a simple code.
1. Wherever possible I buy from UK registered Fair Trade suppliers. In order to keep the damage to the environment to a minimum my prefered suppliers are in the South West where we are based, but I will source further afield when required.
2. Where the goods I require are not available from Fair Trade sources I buy environmentally friendly products from local UK manufactures, artisans and craftsmen.
3. If I cannot stock what I need from these two sources I will buy from other worldwide producers who have ethical and environmentally friendly policies.

Whats with the Dragon?
The name of the company comes from a little known Somerset saint who tamed a dragon on the Somerset levels and persuaded it to mend its ways and help the local community instead. The dragon came in useful for many years helping to light the bonfires in the local villages....
